Each helicopter can be flown on channel A B and C,
the helicopter automatically sets itself to whatever channel the transmitter is on.
The helicopter has a new design; it slows down when you are coming in for a landing, they call it the air brake; it makes for really easy landings.
There is a new 3 bladed tail design and new tail control software,
The new tail is so powerful I have to trim it to the left to
slow it down at the beginning of each flight,
otherwise it goes at full speed towards a wall because the tail is so strong.
I personally think it flies wonderfully, it is less likely
to spin out of control during a hard turn,
it moves very precisely for a 2 channel infra red helicopter.
You can do precision landings with it easily.
It has an infrared gun on the front as well as a red light that blinks when the gun shoots,
the transmitter also makes sound effects every time you fire.
When I first got it, one of the helicopters flew great and one didn't, I noticed that its
Fly bar was to tight, it couldn't easily rock back and forth, so I took it off, and shaved off some plastic, now it rocks back and forth very easily, and the helicopter flies great.
My flight times are around 6 minutes and charge times are about 25 or 30 minutes.
The only problem is finding a good pilot to fly against.

taoistflyer review. This is called the ecoman microgear helicopter. I purchased it from frys electronics for 24.99 it has about the same make up as a picco z but it seams to be of a much better construction. The body is precision molded plastic, which makes for moor consistent flight times and flight characteristics. The flight times are around 8 to 10 minutes of good solid flight with a charge time of 30 minutes for a 10 minute flight. The controller is much the same as a picco z controller except you don't need a screw driver to open the battery compartment. The helicopter didn't require any nose weight to fly well, just a little trim and it flies great and the trim is very accurate and very necessary; always trim it with every flight first thing. The turning radius is much better and quicker then any picco z I have ever used.
If you have an extra 24.99 laying around then you should pick one up today.
I have only had it for 2 days but the flight characteristics haven't degraded any and I am still getting 10 minute flights and it still has enough power to fly nicely at the end of 8 or 9 minutes. It is very much worth the 24.99 asked by frys. And i like the Schweizer 300 body detail, it's very well dun.
Micro gear apache heli review and obstacle course flight
Description
Micro gear needs to take this helicopter off the market Don't buy one of these. I found this coaxial apache 4 channel helicopter made by micro gear for sale at the local frys electronics for 89.99. I am very disappointed with its flight performance and its transmitter. It came with a mode one transmitter that looked like it was left over from the cold war. In the USA we use mode 2. Also the crystal wasn't interchangeable with my other transmitters, it was to short. If you buy one be prepared to get your own transmitter, preferably one with servo reverse switches on it, because you will need to reverse one of the servos if you switch to mode 2.
Also the sliding swash plate is not precise nor is it well tuned out of the box. You may need to move the swash plate to different screws; you may also need to move the servo horn over one notch on the front servo.
This helicopter is a wreck waiting to happen, so if you buy one get extra blades and don't expect much out of it. It may look cool but it certainly doesn't fly very well.
Also the tech support from micro gear has not responded to any of my E-mails,
And most retail stores don't offer exchanges or refunds on R.C vehicles so do your research and buy something with a normal swash plate. If you have time send micro gear an E-mail at support@theparknshop.com telling them to take this helicopter off the market. That's the only contact info I have for them.
